Fethiye Sailing Academy offers a comprehensive sailing yachting program to understand the soul of the sea, become one with the boat, and reach a level where you can take your loved ones on a sailing holiday.
Fethiye Sailing Club with opportunities; it guides those who wish to turn their connection with the sea into a lifestyle. Training sessions are conducted in groups of a maximum of 6 people with one-on-one practical application with experienced instructors.
Education Levels
ISSA Global offers 3 primary licenses: Yacht Crew, Inshore Skipper, and Offshore Skipper.
Yacht Crew
Your first step into the world of sailing — basic tasks and teamwork. 3-day beginner level training.
Inshore Skipper
Yacht usage up to 24m for coastal cruising. 9-day ISSA Inshore Skipper licensed training.
Offshore Skipper
Long distance, coastal cruising, and advanced navigation. International license for offshore.

How do I take the first step? Where do I start?
You can participate in our 3-day practical training. During this process, you will learn basic maritime and sailing terms, get to know boat and sail equipment, and practice sailing and motor navigation and maneuvers.
We stay on the boat, make our meals, drink our coffee, and work in harmony as a team without neglecting fun and laughter.

I would like to be the captain of my boat, what is the process?
In this process, you will participate in a training that will last a total of 9 days. All theoretical and practical training will be given on the boat, and accommodation will be on the boat. At the end of the training, you will receive an internationally recognized ISSA Inshore Skipper you are eligible to obtain the license. This training process also includes Yacht Crew training.
Trainings can be held on 3 separate dates of 3 days each, or on 2 separate dates of 3+7 days. A schedule that suits your professional workload will be created together.
Upon completion of the training, you will be able to rent a sailing boat as a beginner captain and go on sailing trips with your loved ones under your captaincy.
I have experience and a few certifications—how can I improve myself?
We start with a short conversation and listen to your experiences and wishes. Together we will prepare a customized training content or support plan. We can support you on your own boat or on our boats.

My goal isn't to get an education—how can I gain experience?
Sailing Experiences and Voyages You can join us. We'll make safe voyages together as a fleet on the Kaş, Kekova, Göcek, Marmaris routes. You can also join these week-long voyages with your own boat.
During a sailing yacht vacation you will be captaining, we will accompany you for a few days to assist with the maintenance of your boat.
We can provide boat transfer and captain/crew support. If you are interested in regattas, we can participate in fall/winter races together in Göcek, Marmaris, and Bodrum.
Do you have free events?
Knight Island You can visit us anytime. Just come to the Şat Burnu pier in Çalış Beach, the closest point to the island, and call us – we'll pick you up from there and host you on our island.
Here, at our home, office, beach, and pier, you can spend enjoyable time and explore our boats of different models. You can ask us anything you're curious about regarding sailboats and life on a boat.
Afterward, based on your interest, experience, and motivation, we can invite you to our excursions or events with our own team.
