The Story of Fethiye Sailing
Fethiye Sailing was born out of a desire for a more genuine life, away from crowds and closer to nature. Our team is comprised of individuals who studied in different cities and fields, then left behind their corporate lives to answer the call of the sea. With this bold decision, we set our course for Fethiye and settled on Knight Island to build the life we dreamed of.
In April 2025, we turned our three-story home on Knight Island into both our living space and our office. Our lives are shaped by morning meetings over coffee in the garden, planning sessions throughout the day accompanied by the sound of the sea, and refreshing swims on the beach behind our house that conclude with the sunset. Our boats are moored right in front of us. Instead of having our guests wait in the crowded marina, we invite them to spend enjoyable time here before their tours, either swimming in the sea or sunbathing in our garden.
Our events begin and conclude in this peaceful environment. Check-in and check-out procedures are handled at our home. Upstairs, we have a spacious apartment where our guests can stay. We've set up a small sports area in the garden and a simple yet fulfilling arrangement inside. With a small number of boats, we choose to live a life of more with less, in a boutique style, intertwined with nature.
Knight Island
Knight Island, accessible only by sea in the Gulf of Fethiye, is one of the Mediterranean's hidden gems. In ancient times Telandros The island, known as, hosted many civilizations from the Lycians to the Byzantines and the Knights of Rhodes. It gets its current name from the Knights of Rhodes, who used it as a base in the Middle Ages. Some stone ruins that are still visible bear traces of the past.
Knight Island is a rare example of living in harmony with nature today. We work and live here, preserving this heritage through a sustainable and simple lifestyle. Our entire team lives here; we produce together and rest together. We have found our own balance in this environment where we are integrated with nature.
You can experience this atmosphere with a short walk on the island. The blue route, which lasts about 45 minutes, allows you to discover the historical traces and unique landscapes of the island. This walk, especially at sunset, turns into an unforgettable memory.

We studied in different cities, worked in different jobs. But eventually, our paths crossed at sea. Now, on Knight Island, we are building a simple life intertwined with nature, together.

Founder
He laid the foundations of Fethiye Sailing by transforming his passion for sailing into a way of life. After working in other sectors for many years, he turned his course completely towards the sea. Today, he lives with the peace of mind of having built the life he dreamed of step by step.
Irem Ocak
Event Manager & Captain / Founder of Sail 4 Wellness
She created Sail 4 Wellness by combining her scientific background (Molecular Biology and Genetics) with maritime experience, yoga, and nutrition coaching. She is also one of the captains at Fethiye Sailing. She is the person who manages the spirit and flow of the events, considering every detail. She is the one who first connects with guests and understands them best.

Responsible for all technical processes, maintenance, and repairs of ships. The unsung hero who ensures everything runs smoothly behind the scenes. Loves to work as systematically as the sea.

From boat preparations to dock operations, from meeting needs to maintaining daily order, they are present in every area. They are known within the team for their practical intelligence and solution-oriented approach. An unseen but felt balancing element.

The person who makes the first contact with guests. They respond sincerely to all questions and attend to every detail individually. While managing reservation processes, they also focus on optimizing the guest experience.

Strong with numbers, a founder of order and system. All background operations, budgets, and planning are under their control. They are the person who creates a sense of solidity and trust within the team.
